Damian Fraser

CEO & Founder

Damian Fraser founded Miranda Partners in 2018 after serving as the Managing Director of UBS in Mexico from 2011 to 2018. Before that, he was the Head of Equities and Research for Latin America at UBS since 1998. At the beginning of his career, Damian was a journalist at The Economist (economic correspondent) and the Financial Times (head of the Mexico bureau). He holds a CFA and a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Philosophy from Oxford University. He has written several articles and essays on FinTechs, SOFIPOs, regulated banks, and their opportunities and challenges in Mexico.

Gilberto García

Partner and Director of Intelligence
Gil joined Miranda in November 2023, bringing over 15 years of experience in strategic and financial analysis. Previously, he served as a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Barclays, where he was responsible for the financial sector in LatAm; he also covered the telecommunications, media, and industrial sectors. Before Barclays, he was part of the investor relations team at Alfa. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Tec de Monterrey, graduating with highest honors.
